About Pinewoods Park

Pinewoods Park is located near the Town center on Pinewoods Road directly off Route 9. This is a neighborhood park which boosts its state-of-the-art skate park.

Hours for the Pinewoods Skatepark:
  • 9 a.m. - Dusk
  • Restrooms open from 4 - 6 p.m. during the summer. (Port-o-john)

Park Area

Pinewoods park is convenient to restaurants, shops and homes. The park has a woodland area with a 1 mile loop Nature Trail that winds through the beautiful woodlands and skirts the scenic Crum Elbow Creek. Other amenities include a Shaker-built picnic shelter and restrooms that are open to the public during park hours. A small pavilion and the ball field are available for reservation. Public restrooms are available in the summer months and with reservation.

HP Rec Member: $120 | HP Resident: $160 | HP Non Profit*: $120 | Non-Resident: $210

*Tax exempt/non-profit group with 50% or more membership from Hyde Park
**Restrooms and showers available April 15-October 15 only
